International Exchange

Our school’s continuously expanding international student and faculty exchange program reflects our commitment to equipping the next generation of the global healthcare workforce with skills to care for progressively diverse patient populations and serve as leaders in an increasingly globalized health care arena. This program now includes formal bi-directional exchange agreements with hospitals and healthcare institutions in Australia, Brazil, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, India, Mexico, Spain and Taiwan. The school regularly receives international faculty and student visitors from countries throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, Australia, Asia, and Europe, who participate in academic/healthcare knowledge exchange, simulation education scenarios, curriculum consultation activities and visits to local community partner hospitals to observe clinical instruction in action.
